"when large is just not big enough"®
This spring I am inspired by the gardens of Portland. When we moved here last April, we drove around exploring neighborhoods, and the gardens and flowering trees were so intoxicating!
It's led me to creating sheer skirts with flowers, putting ruffles everywhere, fashioning girly dresses in cotton prints, and adding a touch of masculine and whimsy by using ties on a potato sack print (the statue of Liberty betrays my NY roots).
Pockets are a focus, as well as playful polka dots, and sassy horizontal stripes (because your mother told you not to). Plus size clothing can be fun and whimsical while still being comfy and sexy.
